I am a wife and mom of 2 young children, a successful business woman and active community volunteer. I have lived in Clark County since 2001 with my husband Greg, a technology executive. We have chosen to live in SW Washington because of the beauty of the area and the people we have been fortunate enough to meet and call friends. We have built our home here and will raise our children here for years to come.
My working background includes spending the last 8 years in the Technology arena in the area of data storage. I am an experienced manager in customer service, sales and marketing, administration, and finance where I have been able to leverage relationships, both internally and externally, to help drive company revenue and repeat sales, while maximizing service to clients. This experience will help me in the legislature as I strive to work together with other legislators to serve the needs of the 18th district and the State of Washington. Prior to my time in technology, I spent the 1990's in the real estate industry in various sales and marketing positions, part of the time as a partner in a small business.
I am the recipient of the 2006 Marshall Public Leadership Award which is presented annually to encourage and recognize the leadership potential of the next "greatest generation." Selection for this award is based on demonstrated leadership abilities, commitment to public service, academic achievement, and potential for ongoing leadership roles in public service.
